Best Telescopic Pole for Cleaning Solar Panels (2026): 4 Kits Compared

When dust and bird droppings sit on a rooftop panel, a long pole with a brush can reach the glass from the ground, and the best telescopic pole for cleaning solar panels is the kit that states a reach, a brush width, a material and a warranty that fit the roof in question. This guide compares kits stated for solar panels, windows, gutters and roofs on reach, brush, kit contents, weight and warranty, with gaps marked as not stated. Two of the main listings in this group are identical except for color and part number, and that duplication is marked where it appears.

Numbers side by side

Specifications are manufacturer rated as listed, collected 29 October 2026.

Where the points went

The Solar Score weighs performance, build, value, safety and warranty. For a cleaning pole, safety means a weather code or a certification the listing actually states. No listing in this group states a weather code or a certification, so the safety line is empty for every pick. In this group, 1 kit states a clear warranty term, and the other kits state no warranty term. How we pick explains the weights.

Scores run from 9.2 to 9.8: each product’s point total is placed on that range, so more points always means a higher score. Safety counts only for powered gear or where the listing states safety features; where it does not apply, the score is taken over the remaining 90 points.

How to choose the best telescopic pole for cleaning solar panels

Start from reach and brush width

Reach and brush width set how much glass a kit can cover from the ground. The IGAD listing states a 28ft pole, the SKGPOLE listings state a 5-24ft pole with a 30ft reach in the title, and the Peomycur listing states a pole that adjusts from 4.75ft to 24ft. For brush width, the SKGPOLE listings state a 20-inch brush, the Peomycur listing states a 13.3-inch brush head, and the IGAD listing states a 10-inch squeegee without stating a brush width. Match reach to roof height and brush width to panel size, rather than judging a kit by reach alone.

Kit contents

Kit contents differ more than pole length does. The SKGPOLE listings state a 20-inch brush, a cobweb duster, a squeegee, a soap dispenser, a 180-degree angle adapter, a pre-attached hose and a pole with a threaded tip. The IGAD listing states a brush, a soap dispenser, a cobweb duster and a 10-inch squeegee, with a hose tap connection and adjustable water flow. The Peomycur listing states a brush head and a pole with a locking mechanism, without stating a soap dispenser, a duster or a squeegee. A full kit suits a buyer who wants every attachment in the box, while a pole and brush kit suits a buyer who already has cleaning attachments. For wider reading, see the best solar panel cleaner guide and the best cleaner for solar lights guide.

Weight and material

Weight and material matter when a pole is held at full extension. The Peomycur listing states a carbon fiber pole at 2.6 lbs, with a 24ft aluminum pole stated at 4.6 lbs in the same listing for comparison. The SKGPOLE listings state an aluminum pole, without stating a weight figure. The IGAD listing states a weight of 8.82 pounds, with foam grips stated. A light pole is easier to hold at length, but weight alone does not describe brush width or kit contents, so read weight together with the kit contents above.

What the listings leave unclear

Several figures in this group need care. The two SKGPOLE listings state identical bullets, with color and part number as the only stated differences, so color is the only basis for choosing between them. The SKGPOLE listings state a 30ft reach in the title and a 5-24ft pole in the bullets, so reach must be read from both figures, not from the title alone. The IGAD listing states a 28ft pole and a 10-inch squeegee, without stating a brush width. The Peomycur listing states a 1-year warranty, while the SKGPOLE and IGAD listings state no warranty term.

Sizing Notes

• Match reach to roof height: listings in this group state 24ft, 28ft and a 30ft reach figure in a title.
• Match brush width to panel size: listings in this group state a 20-inch brush and a 13.3-inch brush head where a brush width is given.
• Match material to weight at length: carbon fiber at 2.6 lbs and aluminum without a weight figure are stated across the group.
• Match kit contents to cleaning needs: brush, soap dispenser, duster and squeegee are stated in the full kits, but not in every listing.
